Overview
Designed for families who want comfort and space between the game drives. After a night in Arusha you visit Tarangire and Lake Manyara, then spend two nights at a luxury camp in the central Serengeti. The Ngorongoro Crater comes on the way back. Meals and most drinks are included from day 2.

Day by day
Arrive in Arusha
We meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel to rest.
Tarangire National Park
Your guide collects you after breakfast for a day in Tarangire, looking for elephant families, giraffe, lion and leopard among the baobabs. Picnic lunch in the park.
Lake Manyara National Park
A game drive in Lake Manyara, with flamingos, hippos, buffalo, monkeys and, with luck, tree-climbing lions. Visit the hot spring and the hippo pool.
Into the Serengeti
Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area into the Serengeti, game viewing on the way. Picnic lunch, then on to camp.
A full day in the Serengeti
Choose early and late game drives with a rest at camp, or a full day out with a picnic, looking for lion, cheetah and leopard as well as buffalo, hippos and crocodiles.
Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater for an afternoon among wildebeest, zebra and gazelle; it is your best chance of seeing black rhino. Then back to Karatu.
Back to Arusha
After breakfast we drive you to Arusha town, Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, in time for your onward journey.
