Why go
This is a very different side of Tanzania: cool, rolling highland grassland and forest, with rivers and waterfalls rather than big herds. Wildlife includes antelope such as reedbuck and eland, and the birding is excellent. The emphasis is on walking, and on having the landscape to yourself.
