Overview
From January to March the wildebeest give birth on the short-grass plains around Ndutu, and the predators follow. This safari gives you two nights in the middle of it, with morning and afternoon game drives when the animals are most active. You then continue to the central Serengeti and finish with a morning in the Ngorongoro Crater.

Arrive in Arusha
Our team meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drives you to Arusha. Settle in, have dinner and rest.
Over the highlands to Ndutu
Drive through the green Ngorongoro Highlands until the land opens into the Ndutu grasslands, where the wildebeest gather to give birth. Zebra, giraffe and big cats are often seen on the way.
A full day in the calving grounds
Morning and afternoon game drives across the plains and acacia woodland, when you have the best chance of seeing lion and cheetah hunt and calves taking their first steps. Rest at camp in the middle of the day.
Ndutu to the central Serengeti
Drive deeper into the Serengeti, game viewing on the way and stopping for a picnic lunch. Arrive at camp in the central Serengeti by evening.
A full day in the Serengeti
A full day exploring the central Serengeti for lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and giraffe, with a picnic lunch on the plains.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
An early game drive while the animals are active, then lunch and the drive to the Ngorongoro highlands. Overnight at a camp on the crater rim.
Ngorongoro Crater, then Arusha
Descend into the crater after breakfast for a morning game drive and picnic lunch, looking for black rhino, hippos and flamingos. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha.
Fly home
A relaxed breakfast, time for the Maasai Market if your flight allows, then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
