This route gives equal time to wildlife and people. After Tarangire and Lake Manyara you go north to Lake Natron for a walk to the flamingos and a hike to the Engare Sero waterfall. Two nights in the Serengeti and a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater follow. On the last day you meet the Hadzabe, one of Tanzania’s last hunter-gatherer communities, and Datoga blacksmiths at Lake Eyasi.
