Kilimanjaro & Treks

Climb Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru

Four routes to the summit of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain at 5,895 m, and two climbs of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest. Every climb is fully supported by our guides, porters and cook, with park fees, meals on the mountain and emergency oxygen included.

Longer routes give your body more time to adjust to the altitude. Our team will help you choose the right one for your experience, the season and the time you have.

Many companies also sell each route one day shorter: Machame in 6 days, Lemosho in 7, Marangu in 5 and Rongai in 6. We plan the longer versions, which give your body more time to adjust to the altitude.

Mount Meru

Tanzania’s second-highest mountain rises inside Arusha National Park, so you walk with an armed ranger among giraffe, buffalo and colobus monkeys. It is a fine climb on its own and the best way to acclimatise before Kilimanjaro.

From US$1,600 per person

Private climb ยท 4 on the mountain

Our recommended Meru climb, with time to acclimatise and a side trip up Little Meru.

Price on request

Private climb

Climb both

Many climbers do Meru first and go on to Kilimanjaro a day or two later, already used to the altitude. Ask us to combine them in one trip.
